I am Davos and I am 7 years of age.

Davos is desperate for a loving home he is dying in the kennel. 🙏 please don’t pass him by 😢 . Meet beautiful Davos! He is a Podenco mix, about seven years old and weighs about 25 kilos. He was handed in at his first shelter when he was almost a year old. At that time no one knew anything about him. He was then put into foster care for over a year. Still not adopted, he was put into a boarding facility, where he has now stayed for over four years! At the boarding facility, he has been living in a pack and getting along well with the other dogs. He appears to be fine with cats, but, as we know, that doesn’t guarantee that every cat would get on with him or vice versa. With people, he's been described as “charming and affectionate”, and good with children but please note that H4P never recommends the adoption of any new dog into a family that has small children. Davos now needs to leave where he is. He desperately needs to, finally, be part of someone’s family, to experience that consistent, love, affection and attention that he has missed in his life so far. If you would be willing to expand his meagre existence by inviting him into YOUR life and providing him with a permanent, secure home, he would give all the above, plus more in return!

Please welcome Felix who is a small German Shepherd dog.
He may be small, but he has a huge heart ❤ described by his rescuer as an absolute sweetheart.
He is s very sweet, friendly sociable dog who would make a lifelong companion.
Felix is low maintenance and requires very little training. He is a friendly dog gets on really well with all other dogs regardless of size or sex.
He is very playful boy loves to play with humans and dogs often inviting dogs to play with him.
Felix would be a great match to a family with a younger playful dog but would also fit in with a family who enjoys outdoors and exercise.
He walks well on a lead, will need help with recall, is toilet trained. There is no history of aggression or biting and no food dominance or guarding, he makes a perfect family dog.
As he loves all humans, he is very loving and cuddly, very responsive to treats so easy to train.

Hello… we are Rex, Ricky, and Kiro.
We live together in a kennel, but our world is falling apart. 💔

This kennel is closing down, not because of us, but because the people running it have not looked after the dogs properly.

Hello, I am Nevado. 💔

Life has not been kind to me. I was disregarded and abandoned, left to survive on the streets alone. One day, the police found me soaking wet, cold, and malnourished. I was taken to a pound, but there I endured months in a tiny, lonely cage, unsure if anyone would ever care about me.

Eventually, I was moved to a shelter, but my longing for a warm, safe home hasn’t faded. Despite everything I’ve been through, I still have a wonderful temperament and remain gentle, kind, and loving. I get along very well with other dogs, though I’m not tested with cats.

Buddy is two-year-old Collie cross who has been let down very badly by the humans that should love and protect him. Buddy has had a lot of training in his previous home, recall, on the lead, sniff training, hide & seek and loves doggie day care. He has been unsettled since his owner gave him up because her resident dog kept attacking him, so we are looking for a home where he feels secure again and live out the rest of his precious life.
Buddy is an energetic boy needs lots of exercise, a typical Collie, he loves his long walks, he would need a home with an understanding person who has the time to dedicate to settling him in, Buddy loves company, hugs and belly rubs. He needs a secure garden to play. Buddy loves his toys all kinds of chew toys, his Licky mat and his food toys. He is a sweet boy that needs a patient loving person to settle him back in and a forever home can you be that person.

📖 My Very Sad Story
I was living on the streets with my life partner, caring for her and our unborn puppies. I did everything I could to protect her and find food for my family. 🥺
But people hurt me badly – I was beaten and stoned – yet I never fought back. My only goal was to survive and care for my family. ❤️

Eventually, the police seized us and took us to a horrific pound, full of dogs left to starve or suffer untreated illnesses. My partner and our puppies were rescued, but I was left behind. I screamed in despair as they took my family away. Locked in a tiny cage, I stopped eating, feeling alone and hopeless. 😢

💖 A Second Chance
Thankfully, a dedicated rescuer and Hope4Paws stepped in. With help from one of our admins, I was placed in a loving foster home in the UK. I am recovering and learning to trust humans again. 🏡

THREE PUPPIES SADLY HAVE NO NAME

These sweet little girls are abandoned puppies, all of which are about 12 weeks old, same litter. As they were found abandoned there is NO PICTURE OF THE MOTHER.
BRINDLED puppies Mastin Mix. They were just discarded like trash and doesn't even have a name, yet.
We will update this advert as we get further information, but more than anything they now needs a loving forever home.

MY STORY

I am Dane and I am 5 years of age.

This stunning, kind-hearted soul is Dane. He is a 5-year-old Mastin mix who had his life and future dramatically curtailed when he was put into a Municipal Pound at just a few months old. Five years have since passed and he is still there! From the first video posted here you can see the woeful and very restrictive conditions that define his current existence. Dane deserves better, much better. He is a very sociable boy with a wonderful temperament and would make an amazing companion but, due to his size, he has never been given the chance to experience life in a home, to lie in a soft warm bed or feel the love of a person or family. He rarely feels soft grass beneath his feet and has definitely never dipped his paws into soft sand, sea or flowing water. He has missed out on so much. The workers in the pound do their best in terms of walks but these, and any attention he receives, are very meagre. We would love to see him be invited into a loving home and given the attention and affection that he has sorely missed. It would be heart-warming to witness the improvement and expansion to his life if he were to be treated to these new experiences. They may seem commonplace to us but they would be a huge turning point for him! Would you be willing to provide this much for Dane? We truly hope so. Please look into the round, brown eyes of this beautiful dog and see the lonely little soul inside that is asking to experience love

SCOBY

MY STORY

I am Scoby I am around 2 years of age.

Scoby has had a very sad past. He lived in a family home from a tiny puppy until he was around a year old when the family discarded him, like rubbish, by putting him into a dog pound to be euthanized!
A kind rescuer helped him but when that person moved away for work Scoby was put back into kennels.

After the positive respite that he had enjoyed with his rescuer, Scoby is not able to cope with the confinement and the depressing reality of being back in kennels. Scoby is a beautiful, intelligent young soul, with a gentle personality. He walks well on the lead and “Sits” on command [in Spanish!] but he will probably need more recall training. He gets along well with other dogs and has no resource or guarding issues.
Scoby has put up with enough emotional ups and downs in his young life and has a lot of life left to live. Now he desperately needs the security of a consistent and loving, forever home and new adventures.

OLIVER

MY STORY

I am Oliver and I am two years of age.

OLIVER is a 2-year-old Mastiff. These are the words of Oliver's rescuer - we couldn't express it any better!

"Yes, as harsh as it sounds, Oliver happily travelled to Barcelona with the hope of starting a new life, but his adopter is sending him back because they feel “ashamed” to walk with him… since people stare at his bent legs. Ashamed? Shouldn’t the real shame be the abuse, the abandonment, and the lack of food that deformed his legs? 😔 Oliver never chose to starve, he never chose to be mistreated, he never chose to be different. The only thing he knows is how to love. And the only thing he asks for is a home where he won’t be judged for his appearance, but embraced for who he is: a warrior, a noble mastiff who deserves respect and dignity. 🙏 We need to find him a TRUE family—one that will never again feel shame for him, but pride in giving him the second chance he deserves. 📢 Please SHARE so Oliver can find someone who sees him with their heart".

Meet Marley approx. 45-50gk. Another gorgeous boy ❤. Marley is very handsome, lovely colorings, he is a lovely dog.

Marley is great with people, very affectionate, loves attention and affection. He is very good with children, but you need to consider his size and weight.

Marley loves his walks and walks really well on the lead; he has reasonable recall which may need work in a new environment. There is no history of food guarding or resource guarding. He is a sociable dog; he loves to play with other dogs but isn't overactive. A family home with another dog or on his own wouldn't be a problem.
The Mastin breed makes excellent family dogs but due to his size careful consideration needs to be made around young children that can be knocked over.
The breed is protective of his family and home, a great addition to the right family.

Meet Oliver. DOB 23/03/21 Small mixed breed approx. 20kgs

Oliver is a very sociable dog, has a wonderful temperament, is really affectionate with humans and loves cuddles and fussing. He has lived with children and has no history of aggression or biting. He is a playful dog really enjoys play times and walking but is quite a calm dog around the home, he loves sniffing and spending time in the garden amusing himself.

Oliver is housetrained, great on a lead can be reactive to other dogs so training needs to be considered around reactivity, (not biting just barking and pulling) it is more fear than aggression that will settle with reassurance, he will also need training with recall.

Oliver is a dog that has a lot of love to offer making him a wonderful companion. He is not overly demanding and would make a perfect edition to a home that has the time to offer him. He will make a wonderful addition to any family.

He has not been cat tested and would settle and reach his full potential in a single dog residence.
